基于虚拟现实技术的航空母舰漫游系统

【摘要】本文以虚拟现实技术的设计与应用为研究方向,对基于虚拟现实技术的虚拟航母漫游系统进行了深入的研究,总结了漫游系统的开发方法和技术路线,并通过Creator和Vega Prime在HP xw8000图形工作站上实现了一个场景较为真实的虚拟航母实时漫游系统。论文中的具体研究内容主要完成以下几个方面的工作:1.对国内外虚拟现实技术及漫游系统的现状及应用情况进行了综述与分析,提出了虚拟航母漫游系统的实现方法。根据实际情况和技术条件,采用几何建模的方法构造虚拟航母场景,以此为基础构建了漫游系统的整体框架和内部结构。2.选用 Multigen-Paradigm 的 Creator 对航母进行虚拟场景的构建。分析了场景中模型的数据库组织的层次结构,建模过程中主要采取的基于图形的建模方法,并结合具体应用介绍了场景实体建模、运动建模以及部分背景的建模。对软件方面的关键技术进行了详细的阐述。在建立场景数据库中模型时,采用模型结构调整、纹理映射、层次细节等技术方法对场景进行了优化,使漫游系统有较好的运行性能并达到很好的实时绘制效果。3.选用虚拟现实开发软件 Vega Prime 通过其图形用户界面 LynX Prime并结合VC++6.0 实现实时漫游,提供了场景漫游的设计过程。实现了漫游系统中航母模型的三维建模,场景特效的加入以及交互控制等关键技术的使用。With the development of science and technology, virtual reality, as a direction of computer application, has become the focus of attention, and widely used in military, scientific research and entertainment. In this paper, first, the development and application of virtual reality is analyzed, and then based on them, according to aircraft carrier, build a system of virtual roaming on aircraft carrier. The content of building this system includes modeling the main body of carrier, developing the scene simulation system which has the characteristic of virtual reality, realizing the function of real time simulation and interactive control. The research work includes several parts as follow. Firstly, by carefully studying the status of the development and application of virtual reality all over the world, the significance and importance of virtual roaming on aircraft carrier is presented. The method of how to develop the virtual roaming system is also presented in this paper. By geometry modeling, virtual scene is built and the foundation of the system frame is coming into being. Secondly, analyzing the 3D software, we select Creator which is from Multigen Paradigm Inc for modeling the virtual objects. During the process of modeling, method based on graphics is the main, including object modes, active models and some part background models. The key technology of software relating to the modeling visual carrier is finely illustrated. After set up the scene database, the models are well optimized.Finally, real time roaming is fulfilled by using a virtual reality development software named Vega Prime and design process of scene roaming is offered. The key technology of collision detection and interactive control are also illuminated in this paper.
